A Little History ...
Founded as Lawn & Garden Services in 1987 by father and son team, Jerry Barnish Sr. & Jerry Barnish Jr., The Barnish Companies have been providing landscaping, maintenance, and plowing services to commercial and residential customers throughout the Pioneer Valley - where the Barnish family has worked and lived - for over twenty years. In 1996, leveraging a combined 60+ years of experience in the trucking and waste management industry, the father-son team expanded the business and began offering trucking and hauling services to customers throughout New England. In 2008, the family business expanded again by offering dumpster rentals and opening a mulch center. To better represent the variety of services offered and our growth over time, the name of the business was changed to The Barnish Companies, now represented by two divisions: Barnish Trucking & Disposal and Barnish Landscaping & Mulch.
